Public Hearings on administrative rule changes to allow for HIV rapid testing in Hawaii

Public Hearings on administrative rule changes to allow for HIV rapid testing in Hawaii will be held on Monday, May 14th at 1:00pm at video conferencing center locations statewide.  The addresses for each of these locations are provided in the notice printed below.

You are welcome to attend one of the Public Hearings to provide oral testimony.   All written and oral comments are welcome.   

The public hearing notice for Chapter 110.1 was published in the Honolulu Star Bulletin on April 11th, as follows:

"Written comments can be submitted if attending the public hearings is not possible.  Written comments will be accepted until close of business May 14, 2007 at the Office of Health Care Assurance, 1250 Punchbowl St. Rm 340, Honolulu, HI  96813. They can be addressed to Chapter 110.1 Public Hearing Officer. Comments can be faxed to (808) 692-7447."

Written comments can be short - even a sentence or two to indicate your support for changes to the Administrative Rules to allow for HIV rapid testing in Hawaii - and include your name, address and phone number or email address.
