The Chaplain, Maui Community Correctional Center's religious volunteers On Thursday, July 13, 2006, the Friends of The Chaplain, Maui Community Correctional Center's religious volunteers, churches, and intercessors will gather at the Kahului Salvation Army Hall across from the Kahului Union Church at 530 p.m. with Chaplain (volunteer) Pua Hashimoto for the quarterly evaluation and to introduce newly trained religious volunteers. The pot-blessing begins after the prayer (pule), and we will plan the holiday events and 2007. Our mission is to provide positive reinforcement and diffuse stress, to honor confidentiality, and be fair while residents, volunteers, and employees are practiciing the faith of their choice in MCCC.
